Church Overview

Founded in the 11th century, the round tower of that date is of Irish inspiration. The church contains 13th, 14th and 15th-century medieval architecture. Major restoration in 1900-2 supervised by J Honeyman (Honeyman, Keppie & Mackintosh). Special features include the 12th-century font and a collection of Pictish sculptures. Stunning 20th-century stained glass by Henry Holiday, Gordon Webster, Douglas Strachan, Herbert Hendrie, William Gauld, Hugh Easton and the firm of William Morris.
