Church Overview
John Honeyman designed this church which sits at the foot of Craigmore and on the banks of the River Forth. In early-Gothic style 1870, it replaced the Old Kirk of Aberfoil on the south bank of the River reached by crossing the hump-back bridge. The new church was enlarged in 1884 to include transepts. The interior is elegant with the minimum of ornamentation. Magnificent roof timbers. Stained glass, including a window by Gordon Webster 1974. Two-manual pipe organ 1887 by Bryceson Brothers, London.
