Church Overview
This beautiful elliptical church with its delicate spire and Adam-style plaster ceiling has been described as the architectural gem of the New Town. Built in 1784, designed by Major Andrew Frazer. Delicate oval interior with fine plasterwork and sweeping gallery. Two fine 20th-century stained glass windows, one by Douglas Strachan (1875-1950), the other by Alfred Webster (1884-1915). Organ by Wells-Kennedy 1984.
