Church Overview
Designed by George Goldie and opened in 1865, enlarged by Bruce & Hay 1883. Built in basilica form with two aisles and a bell tower which is the most prominent landmark in Wishaw. The tower houses a bell (tone E) which is rung every day at 12.00 noon and 6.00pm for the Angelus prayer and also 30 minutes before the main Sunday service and during weekday services. Stained glass windows based on paintings by Jessie McGeechan of Coatbridge.
