Church Overview

Built as a Free Church 1877-81 by James Matthews of Aberdeen. A 197-ft tower and spire and associated pyramid-roofed twin towers lift the church out of the ordinary. In 1988 a transformed church was created at first-floor level above a multi-purpose ground-floor. Organ by Brindley & Foster 1893. Stained glass includes windows by Adam & Small 1881, Douglas Strachan 1923, and Edward Burne-Jones (executed by William Morris & Co) 1889.
