Church Overview

The church was founded in 1747 following the "burgher" and "anti-burgher" controversy that split the secession churches in the 18th century. Following unions with other churches, the North Church became Church of Scotland in 1929. A pleasant city-centre church built in 1880 by T L Watson of Glasgow in Italian Romanesque style.
