Church Overview
Kilmarnock's oldest church building built 1732 of local stone by the Hunter Brothers to a design adapted from St Martin's-in-the-Fields, London. Austere exterior contrasts with pleasing interior enhanced by unique set of 23 stained glass windows by W & J J Keir, glaziers to Glasgow Cathedral. Graveyard with tombs including John Wilson, publisher of Robert Burns's first book of poems.
