Church Overview
The church, reputedly designed by Thomas Telford, was erected in 1804-5. The two-storey T-plan building with an open belfry on the front gable is of local dressed sandstone. Inside, there are east and west galleries and a laird's loft, all supported on pillars. The pews, refurbished in 1908, are of rare New Zealand Kauri pine.
