Church Overview
The present building dates from 1801, with a church on this site since 1572. Classical Georgian church designed by Alexander Morrice. The pulpit is one of the highest in Scotland and the superb memorial window designed by Douglas Strachan 1906 was gifted by Sir George Anderson, Treasurer of the Bank of Scotland, in memory of his parents. A front pew in the south gallery is marked as the place where Marconi, pioneer of wireless telegraphy, worshipped during his stay in Fraserburgh. Unaltered Forster & Andrews 2-manual organ of 1892.
