Church Overview
Simple United Presbyterian-style building of 1838. A pedimented open bellcote flanked by projecting brackets. Gables neatly finished with small finials. Pleasant restored interior with gallery. The pews have been removed and the ground floor area carpeted and worshippers now have individual seats. What used to be the Session Room is now the Hall, used for Bible Studies, Prayer meetings, Childrens' activities and Leadership Team meetings.
Since leaving the Church of Scotland, Erskine Church has become an Independent Evangelical Church, and is a member congregation of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. Visitors are always assured of a friendly welcome.
