Church Overview

Built originally as a chapel for the United Original Secession Church (Paterson & Shiells 1865) as part of the city's Victoria Street redevelopment. Following the return of the 'Auld Seceders' to the Kirk, it became 'Kirk House', Headquarters of the Edinburgh Battalion of the Boys' Brigade (conversion by Basil Spence & Partners 1960). Converted as Quaker Meeting House by Religious Society of Friends in 1987 (Architects Walmesley & Savage).
