Church Overview
A place of worship since the 12th century, the present kirk was built 1793. Bell inscribed 'John Meikle, Edinburg, fecit for the Kirk of Cults, 1699'. Lepers window, laird's pew, memorials, one by Chantry of Sir David Wilkie RA, the most famous son of the manse, one by Samuel Joseph of his father and mother. Wilkie Hall, Pitlessie village, has a collection of etchings and engravings by Wilkie, viewing by appointment 01337 830491.
