Church Overview
St Cadoc is believed to have had a holy site here c550 AD, and early buildings have been recorded from the 12th century. The present building is by David Cousin 1841 and the chancel is by P MacGregor Chalmers 1922. Steeple with clock and bell. Stained glass and tapestries by Sadie McLellan 1957. Millennium wall-hanging in vestibule 2001. Heraldic shields of heritors decorate the ceiling. Interesting gravestones in churchyard including one to Rev William McCulloch, Minister at Scotland's largest ever revival 'The Cambuslang Wark' in 1742.
In 2008, the congregation merged with Trinity St Paul’s and St Andrew’s to form Combuslang Parish Church.
