Church Overview

Gothic-style church with 3-bay façade with lancet windows and small steeple built in 1847 to a design by Brown & Carrick of Glasgow. Local quarry owner Alexander Lawrie gifted the stone to build the church. T-plan, side galleries added in 1893. Chancel area modernised 1935. Windows 1993 by Ruth Golliwaws of New Orleans, USA.
