Church Overview
Originally known as Trinity Church, St Columba was dedicated in 1902. Built of red sandstone to designs by John B Wilson of Glasgow. Fine pipe organ 1904 by J J Binns, restored by Harrison & Harrison 1985, Festival Trumpet added 2005. Stained glass by Sidney Holmes, C C Baillie, Susan Bradbury, Rowland Mitton and Moira Parker. Resurrection window unveiled by HRH the Princess Royal 2002. Cultured octagonal pencil tower with carillon of bells.
