Church Overview
Built 1967 to replace the 1796 'whitewashed kirk'. Designed by Honeyman, Jack and Robertson of Glasgow. High roof and long aisles. The open pews, constructed from the same light hardwood (ramin) as the cross, font, lectern and choirstalls, create an understated unity. Stained glass by Gordon Webster in the style 'Dalles de Verre'. The grounds, laid out by Bessie McWhirter, are open to all.
